In very good company, including another stallion imported from the same farm in Poland, named Eukariont, Elganan El Adien was sashed champion purebred stallion.
Elganan’s owner, David Gillett said it was very interesting to see how these two stallions, who have spent the majority of their lives in Victoria, recognised each other in the show ring, preferring to interact directly rather than with the other stallions in the competition.
Elganan has since come back to Upper Lansdowne and has been busy breeding mares ever since. The 2018 foaling season will be a busy time at Diamond Road.
