Hundreds of people converged on the mountain village for an afternoon wandering around some of the best gardens in the Hastings.
It was the last chance for green thumbs to explore the multi-award winning “Girraween Gardens”, winner of the Sun Herald Garden Competition, as Phyllis Fisher is retiring her garden after this year’s event.
Sixteen gardens were on display.
Six gardens in Comboyne township and 10 out of town gardens filled the program with the village hosting Devonshire teas and luncheons for visitors.
Visitors were inspired by delightful and quirky suburban gardens to expansive farm garden displays.
