2016 showgirl Victoria Lee put the event together on behalf of the Taree Show Society over a few short weeks, with the help of her family.
The event, held on the Friday night of the show, was attended by 75 people including federal member for Lyne Dr David Gillespie and member for Myall Lakes, Stephen Bromhead.
The dinner included the official opening of the new multi-purpose cattle sheds by the show society.
The success of the event indicated that the dinner, hosted by the current showgirl, will become a feature event in future years.
Victoria Lee said she has high hopes that the event will continue to grow, and attract attendees from outside of the immediate show circuit.
“We would like to thank all the sponsors of the night and would like to invite your continued support in future years,” she said.
“These kinds of events would be impossible without community support, so thank you for getting involved.”
