The Camden Haven Community College and Quality Vocational Education (QVE) Training facilitators acknowledged the achievements of graduates in two courses at a ceremony at the Manning Valley Visitors Information Centre on September 29.

A total of 34 people from Taree, Forster, Tuncurry, Laurieton and other surrounding areas were joined by fellow students, families and friends to accept their Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) or Certificate IV in Ageing Support.
Students will now be qualified to care for people in residential care facilities and the community. Several graduates and most of the prior graduates in the region have already gained employment.
QVE manager Veronica Peterson thanked all residential care service providers that support the training and accommodate students for their mandatory work placement.
She also recognised job search provider Job Actives, who refer students to the courses.

Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and Disability) graduates- Tracy Bolton, Lauren Bryant, David Camden, Saree Cassano, Sophie Cassells, Rejane Chapman, Chris Clark, Leisa Cox, Jennifer Gray, Kylie Hardy, Katharine Hayward, Ryan Hutchinson, Aristona Kuokkanen, Ray McPherson, Elizabeth Mitchell, Te-Aotaihi Moiri, Natasha Morrison, Toni Noctor, Daniel Pettett, Angela Reeve, Craig Rem, Chloe Rudel-Holland, Tara Russell, Nathan Schubert, Fernando Tavares, Rebecca Turnbull, Shannon Turpin and Sharon Ulm.
