MANNING first grade cricket premiers United will meet Port Panthers in the opening round of the McDonalds Mid North Coast Premier League at Chatham Park on Saturday October 7.

Wingham will play Kempsey club Nulla at Andrews Park in Wauchope while the third Manning club involved, Taree West, will have the bye.
In the other first round matches Macquarie will take on Wauchope RSL at Wayne Richards Park, Port Macquarie while Rovers and Port City Leagues will play at South West Rocks Oval.
Taree West will play United in the second week of the competition on Saturday October 14 at Chatham Park.
All matches will be one day fixtures, with the teams playing each other twice. Semi-finals will start on Saturday March 10, with six sides involved.
Grand final day is Saturday March 24.
The new competition was officially launched by Member for Cowper, Luke Hartsuyker, at a function held at Port Macquarie.
Mid North Coast president Gordon Cross from Wingham outlined the journey this concept took from idea to reality.
He thanked the tireless work from Dave Burley and Craig Lobegeier especially for their vision for the game. McDonalds restaurant licensees in Taree, Port Macquarie and Kempsey were also thanked for their financial contribution in support of the competition.
