Flathead caught from Harrington wall

IT has been another good week of fishing on the Manning River.

Flathead are staring to show up on the Harrington wall and in the backwater at Harrington.

Bream and luderick have been taken from the wall with the luiderick taking live yabby baits at night.

Whiting have been caught in the lagoon at Harrington and at the southern entrance of the Manning at Farquhar Park.

Fin fish have been observed moving along the wall in the early morning, while tailor are still taking lures.

The beaches have been rather quiet with no decent catches reported in the past week.

On the outside scene returns have been reasonable.

Snapper have been biting on the drift while a few king fish have also been boated.
