Club member Michael Eyb enthusiastically explained this in the Friday Sport Talk segment on the Manning River Times Facebook page.
The main event will start at 9am on Sunday August 20 and will attract nearly 200 riders. However, on Saturday August 19 from 2pm the club will conduct guided tours of the Kiwarrak Forest trails for advanced, intermediate and beginner/family cyclists.
There will also be a kids bicycle gymkhana as part of the race program on the Sunday for riders aged between 5 and 12.
Michael also spoke about some of the marathon bike rides he’s been on in Australia and Canada. He revealed a bike ride from Cape York to Wilson's Promontory will pass through Taree in September 2018. At this stage Michael is undecided as to whether he’ll be part of the journey.
