DIAMOND Beach’s James Turner will start favourite for the final of the (category T36) 200 metres at the World Para Athletics Championships to be run at 5.30am (Australian time) on Tuesday in London.

Turner, a gold medalist in the 800 metres at the Rio Paralympics last year, clocked 24.15 in the 200 metre heat to win convincingly.
He will also contest the 800 and 400 metres at the championships. These event are set for later this week.
