Mr Marsh has spent decades collecting stories of life in the outback and is known for his colourful and insightful depictions of traditional Australian life through his stories, songs and plays.
Some of his books include Great Australian Outback Teaching Stories, Great Australian Outback Police and Great Australian Droving Stories.
Mid Coast Council’s library events officer Danielle Donnelly said the sessions will give locals a chance to hear from a celebrated Australian writer.
“These events provide a great opportunity for the local community to meet this talented author and hear him talk about his books, tell some amazing stories, and answer their questions,” Ms Donnelly said.
He will feature at Harrington Library on Monday, July 3 from 1.30pm, Wingham Library on Wednesday, July 5 from 11am, Taree Library Thursday, July 6 at 6pm and Forster Library Friday, July 7 at 2pm.
The events are free but booking is essential.
