Over 80 beautiful patchwork quilts were on display and visitors were asked to vote for their favourite quilt.
The winning quilt was titled “Lights of the Seasons” made by Val Hammond of Moto.
The quilt featured lots of different light houses in seaside and rural landscapes.
Val was presented with a certificate and a $50 voucher sponsored by Country Pickens Fabric shop in Victoria Street, Taree.
The winning quilt is currently on display in the shopfront window of Country Pickens.
Another beautiful quilt is being raffled to support the Orange Sky Laundry Van for the Homeless which is being established to service an area from Kempsey to Taree.
Tickets are available at Taree Craft Cottage until Friday April 28, when the winner will be drawn.
The committee of Taree Craft Centre is very grateful to co-ordinator Kerry Wakely and all the wonderful Quilters of the Manning Valley for sharing their expertise and talents, and making this outstanding exhibition possible.
