“I thoroughly enjoyed playing the colourful role of Scottish teacher Ms McClean and also the part of Zanya, spirit of the tree, in Ariana Shneider's wonderful musical Crystal Dreaming. This was after a break of several years in musical theatre.
“I've been fortunate in having lead roles in such fantastic Taree Arts Council productions as Can Can, Oliver, Bye Bye Birdie and A Little Night Music,” said Dale. “I've equally delighted in involvement in shows like Leader of the Pack, Little Shop of Horrors, Jesus Christ Superstar and the magnificent Les Miserables.”
In addition to musical theatre Dale has many and varied interests including travel (just recently to Israel), reading, watching inspiring movies, people, family and friends and the ocean.
“My favourite activity however, is singing worship songs, whether it be in church or OUT of church!”
Spotlight on Taree Arts Council is on Tuesday February 21 at 11am and Saturday February 25 at 7.30pm at St Mary's Hall in Taree. Light refreshments provided. Tickets are $20 or $15 concession from Bass'n'Blues in Albert Street, Taree.
