The Taree Lions donated $1000 to the Lions Flood Disaster Relief Fund, a fund co-ordinated by the zone Lion Club’s form the central west.
Taree Lions president Phil Grissold said, ‘most damages occurred across rural properties’.
“They are still assessing the total impact of the floods,” he said.
To make it easier for people in the area to donate, the Lions will co-ordinate local donations to the relief fund.
