The men’s competition and the division one and two junior competitions have also reached the semi-final stage.
Although the weather is likely to be cold at Saxby’s Stadium on Tuesday the basketball action will be hot, hot, hot.
As usual the draw for next week’s semi-final games will be posted on the Taree Basketball website, www.taree.basketball.net.au over the weekend.
As one basketball competition draws to a close the next one covering the second half on the year has entered the planning stage.
All teams and individuals seeking to play should now be talking to family and friends to make that happen as spaces are limited and will fill fast.
The new competitions will tip off mid-July after the break for the winter school holidays and run all the way to mid-December.
The Magic Monday basketball skills sessions at Saxby’s Stadium are also a good way for players to take their game.
The cost is $2 for a program which runs from 4pm to 5.15pm for young fans to work on the fundamental skills of the game in a safe and friendly environment.
Meanwhile Taree junior representative teams are training for the next round of the Molten Waratah Northern Junior League to be played in Newcastle later this month. A preview will appear closer to the date.
