As a cold front moves across north-eastern parts of the state, the Bureau of Meteorology says strongs winds with peak gusts of 90km/h can be expected across NSW today and tomorrow afternoon.
The warning also was issued for the Northern Tablelands, Central Tablelands and the Hunter Valley.
The NSW State Emergency Service has advised residents to move vehicles under cover or away from trees, secure or put away loose items around the house, and keep clear of fallen powerlines.
