The students have been chosen to perform in Los Angeles at Disneyland, Disney California Adventure Park, Universal Studios and on Hollywood Boulevard (where they will have their name displayed in lights behind them).
The stand out performance will be the Disney Parade, where the girls will dance for 20 minutes in a high energy showcase.
“At the moment we are focusing on building their stamina,” said academy owner, Andrea Rowsell.
Training since January, the group’s weekend sessions have moved from the studio to the riverbank, to give them the space needed to parade.
To get the performance spot the academy made it through a strict audition process involving a lot of paperwork and sending in photographs and videos of their dance styles.
Whilst there, the girls will have the opportunity to participate in workshops and meet dancers from all over the world.
“It will be fantastic to open their eyes to outside where they live,” said Andrea.
Andrea is touched that as academy owner she will be part of the girls’ special memories forever.
“It will be such a thrill seeing their excitement!”
Each of the girls have had countdowns on their phones since the news of the trip became official.
The dancers range in age from 11 to 22.
There will be 88 travellers in total, with siblings, parents and even grandparents coming along for the ride.
“A lot of families are staying on for a longer time away, each are looking forward to enjoying their perfect holiday.”
It seems, dreams really do come true for all.
