POLICE are seeking help regarding an accident in Taree on Tuesday, July 8.

At about 6.20pm a man of Aboriginal appearance was struck by a 4WD vehicle being driven along Bushland Drive, Taree, near the intersection of Wells Street.
As a result, he has sustained serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The man is about 30 years old, of slim to medium build and between 175cm to 180cm tall. He was wearing blue denim style shorts and dark blue top and possibly a white cap.
Police are asking for any witnesses who may have seen this man in the area prior to this incident occurring.
Police say inquiries are continuing, but it is possible that the man may have been seen sitting or laying within the mentioned location and not just walking.
