A woman is due to appear in court after she was charged with the alleged robbery and kidnapping of two teenage girls.

About 10pm Monday 30 June, 2014, the 22-year-old woman was in a car with two 17-year-old teenagers when she allegedly started assaulting them.
The girls were allegedly forced to drive the woman to an address in Taree where she has allegedly robbed the girls of their mobile phones and car keys.
The two girls left the area and attended hospital where they were treated for injuries including cuts and abrasions.
About 9am yesterday (Tuesday, July 1) police attended a Taree address and arrested the 22-year-old woman. She was taken to Taree Police station and charged with two counts of robbery causing actual bodily harm and two counts of aggravated kidnapping.
She was refused bail and is expected to appear in Forster Local Court today, (Wednesday, July 2).
