Wilkins is moving from the area due to work commitments and played his last game for the club against Macleay Valley at Omaru Park last weekend.
He made his first appearance with Taree when he was four and is the longest serving player with the club. Wilkins was made a life member in 2006 and has been a member of the premier league side since the competition kicked off in 2001. Wilkins has also coached extensively at junior level.
Taree president Mark Woodward presented Wilkins with a plaque following the premier league clash.
