The work, being undertaken by CivilTeam Engineering for councilm is expected to take two weeks, weather-permitting.
Works will commence near Woollards Road and move towards Malcolms Road.
In addition to profiling of the asphalt surface, a primer seal and new surface course material will precede the final line marking.
One lane of traffic will be operational during construction, and contractors will resurface the sections of road as quickly as possible to minimise disruption to residents.
However, due to the nature of the works, there will be a short period when vehicular access to affected residences will be restricted to emergency vehicles only.
During such restricted access times, residents will be asked to make alternative arrangements for their vehicles.
Alternative parking and resident access will be available, and information on these exact times will be given by the project team. Pedestrian access to residences will be maintained at all times.
For the safety of motorists, pedestrians and construction workers, please observe all project signage and traffic control directions.
