The works aim to reinstate the swimming area and improve the foreshore and are scheduled to complete in mid-April.
The project is being undertaken by Greater Taree City Council in partnership with the Farquhar Inlet Management Group. Funding is being provided through the NSW Crown Lands Funding Program and the NSW Community Building Partnership Program.
“We are hoping to get these works completed before the busy school holiday period,” said Richard Pamplin, council's senior leader strategic planning. “The efforts of the Farquhar Inlet Management Group in obtaining funding for this work are very much appreciated by council and the community.”
