This is Old Bar captain-coach Danny Russell's former club.
"We'll be taking 25 players up - it'll be a mixture of first and reserve graders,'' Russell said.
Old Bar's under 18s, coached this season by Shane Glass, will also be trialling.
Russell, who will play halfback, said the Pirates will field a vastly different looking lineup from the one that played in the grand final last year.
"Apparently we'll only have two players back from 13 that started the grand final last year,'' he said.
Kurt Lewis, a gain this season from Forster-Tuncurry will have having a run tomorrow although prop/second rower Rumone Jackson will be a later starter.
"He's getting married in a couple of weeks,'' Russell explained.
Russell said the numbers have been 'up and down' at training but he expects this to improve as the season gets closer.
Old Bar will host the opening round of the XX Trophies pre-season on Sunday week.
