The Australia-wide peaceful protest has so far seen upwards of 100,000 people march together in various locations to voice their concerns over the Federal Government's controversial policies.
Nicole Duncan and Peter Campbell were among the 30 locals who attended the Port Macquarie march and upon their return Nicole decided to coordinate a Taree event, planned for this Saturday (March 22).
"It was a great day up there and we had some good feedback from people saying we should hold one in Taree so we're doing it," explained Peter.
Taree's March in March will meet at Johnny Martin Oval at 10.30am, when the march will head off past Taree High School and on to Victoria Street.
It will finish at Queen Elizabeth Park with some speakers.
Everyone is welcome to turn up prior to 10.30am and join in the march that is expected to be the last of the national protests.
There is now a Facebook page set up for March in March Taree where information will be updated in the lead up to this weekend's event.
