A 69-YEAR-OLD Nerong man will face court this month after he was charged with possession of child abuse material and drug offences.

About 9am on Monday police from the Manning-Great Lakes Local Area Command raided a residential property at Nerong, south of Bulahdelah.
Police said they located and seized computer equipment as well as cannabis and cannabis seeds.
The man was arrested and taken to Bulahdelah Police Station where he was charged with one count of possession of child abuse material and two counts of possession of a prohibited drug.
He was granted conditional bail and will appear in Forster Local Court on March 19.
