FIFTEEN showgirl finalists representing show societies from Gloucester to the Queensland border will converge on Taree tomorrow Saturday for the zone showgirl judging.

Starting at 8am, they will face a panel of three judges and show their general knowledge on current affairs, politics, agriculture, plus give a short speech.
Taree Agriculture and Horticulture Society will be represented by Brooke Yarnold, who was sashed Miss Taree Showgirl at the October show last year.
The winner and runner-up will be announced at a dinner in the evening.
They will go on to represent the zone at the Royal Easter Show in Sydney, where they will vy for the title of Royal Easter Showgirl 2014.
The finals will be hosted by the Taree Show Society at the Winning Post Function Centre at the Taree-Wingham Racecourse.
