The Pennant matches on the weekend saw the 2’ win an excellent 9 to 1 rubber to the strong Forster Club, but the 4s lost 9 to 1 to Bulahdelah and the 7s went down 9 to 1 to Forster. This weekend is a double header with the 2s playing Harrington at home on Saturday and Club West away on Sunday. The 4s play Bulahdelah at home on Saturday and Pacific Palms at home on Sunday. The 7s play Sporties at home on Saturday and have the bye on Sunday.
There is still a little confusion as to when bowlers can walk to the head during a Pennant match. These are the rules. Leads, seconds and thirds may go to the head after delivering their second bowl. Skips may go to the head after delivery of both their bowls.
