Community Services Manager - Aboriginal people are strongly encouraged to apply. Taree Indigenous Development Employment (TIDE) Taree Indigenous Development Employment (TIDE) is a community non-profit organisation with extensive employment, work experience and training networks. Our offices are in Taree and Port Macquarie Purpose of the position This position is responsible for the management, coordination and expansion of TIDE's Community Service programs, currently operating in Greater Taree and the Port Macquarie/Hastings area. TIDE currently manages 5 Community Service programs A genuine passion for making a difference and a proven ability to work effectively with Aboriginal & ATSI people and their communities is essential. The role is permanent part time 28 hours per week and graded at Level 5 of the SCHADS Award 2010 The hourly rate is $42.94 - $43.86. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply for this role To apply, please address the following Selection criteria Selection Criteria Proven ability to communicate and work effectively with Aboriginal & TSI people, their communities and other Community Service providers Proven ability to supervise and support staff and manage HR issues eg. recruitment High level of communication skills including literacy and numeracy Ability to work within and monitor program budgets Sound computer skills, in particular Microsoft Office Driver's license Registered and insured car Desirable Education/Qualifications: Associate Degree in Aboriginal Management and/or Community Development Diploma in Family Intervention andr Community Services Applications in writing please, addressing selection / criteria must be emailed to eva@tide.org.au Call Eva on 0400548851 for further information Closing date: Monday 7 February 2022
