Activities Coordinator

We have a full-time opportunity for an Activities Coordinator to join our team at NRMA South West Rocks Holiday Resort, to create amazing experiences for our guests who are young and young at heart.

You will work closely with the Resort Manager and provide oversight to the coordination of the team and all activities. 

Our team are the life of the party and provide a number of experiences for our guest 365 days a year; Bear Grylls Survival Academy, arts and crafts, sporting activities, scavenger hunts, trivia nights, game shows and dance parties just to name a few.

• Experience is supervising and training a team
• Drive and passion to deliver and create guest experience to a high level.
• Rostering employees, adhering to wage budget and operational needs.
• Outgoing bubbly personality
• Confident working with people of all ages
• Ability to facilitate activities and entertainment for large number of kids/guests
• An availability across weekends, public and school holiday periods
• Be able to work in a fast paced environment especially through peak periods
• Confident talking on a microphone when hosting trivia nights, game shows, dance parties etc
• Not afraid to make a fool of yourself
• Time management skills
• Cash handling experience
• Mandatory current Working with Children Check (MUST be valid)
• First aid and CPR (Valid)

We are looking for candidates with experience working in kids clubs, cruise ships, resort entertainment/activities, child care, or similar.
