The Taree player won the guaranteed first prize of $100,000 in draw 10257, drawn Wednesday, November 21.
It will forever remain a mystery how the player plans to use their $100,000 windfall as they have chosen to remain anonymous and celebrate in private.
NSW Lotteries spokesperson Lauren Cooney said Lucky Lotteries winners often said their prize gave them the freedom to spoil themselves.
“From holidays overseas to new cars and house deposits, many winners tell us the guaranteed first prize amount will be used for an item, an occasion or a holiday they have always been dreaming of,” she revealed.
“We have no doubt the winner will spend their weekend planning their next adventure and how to put the prize to good use.”
The winning ticket was purchased at The News Booth, Kiosk 2, Manning Mall, 81 Manning Street, Taree.
The News Booth owner Stephen Booth said he was so exciting to have sold a top prize winning ticket.
“I was so shock and excited when I realised,” he said.
“We’ve been open for 12 years and have never sold a division one winning ticket but now we finally have!
“It’s just so great to see locals, who truly deserve a win, take home a top prize.”
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $29.32 million for draw 1169 while the Lucky Lotteries Super Jackpot is now $1.67 million for draw 10259.
