MORE than 160 current and former members have indicated they’ll be attending a dinner to mark Taree Old Bar Surf Club’s 90th anniversary on Saturday, November 3 at Club Old Bar.

However, reunion committee spokesman Bruce Yarad said the response from locals has been tardy.
The function will start at 5.30 and will be the formal part of the two day celebration.
Mr Yarad asks those intending to attend the evening to contact a member of the reunion committee as numbers are required for catering.
Open days will be held at the surf club on the Saturday and Sunday starting from 9.30. There will also be an extensive display of memorabilia at the surf club.
There will be a morning tea and lunch both days.
Taree Old Bar Surf Club was formed in 1928 and was the second in the Lower North Coast area behind Black Head.
