In the 24 hours prior to 9am Friday, March 23, 72mm was recorded at Taree, 99mm at the Wallamba River (Tuncurry), 80mm at Mount George and 76mm at Bungwahl.
Gloucester received 17mm.
The State Emergency Service said minor flooding is possible along the Manning River at Wingham this afternoon.
The Bureau of Meteorology has predicted that the Manning River will reach the minor flood height of 4.9 metres at the Wingham gauge.
Flood waters may start to impact low lying areas, roads, bridges and causeways in the areas that include Bight Bridge (inundated and closed), Racecourse Road, Fotheringham Street and Wingham Peninsula.

The Manning River was recorded at 4.79 metres at the Killawarra Bridge (near Wingham) on Friday morning and is rising.
The river was recorded at 0.95 metres at Taree and remains steady.
The Pacific Highway near Kennedys Gap Road at Coolongolook has experienced flooding with one of the two northbound lanes closed.
Emergency services and the Roads and Maritime Service are on site.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution.
