Gloucester Agricultural, Horticultural and Pastoral Society vice president Alison Kernahan said children’s activities, the opening of the new pavilion, ute pull and Rooftop Express show were among the popular attractions.
“It was a successful show, the weather was perfect,” she said.
She added that the show saw an increase in exhibitions.
“Considering the dry weather we’ve had, I didn’t think we’d get any,” she said.
“There was lots of produce and all the shelves filled.”
The crowds stuck around on Saturday night to catch the Bowden Brothers perform.
Hayley Johns was named Gloucester Showgirl 2018 during the event.
Hayley said she entered the competition to promote the significance of agriculture in the Gloucester community and NSW as well as its importance to future generations.
Fairfax Media photographer Scott Calvin was at the showground to capture all the action.
