Manning Net facilitator, Donna, is a driving force behind the Wingham Akoostik Festival, and a great achiever for the community.
Donna very humbly acknowledged the citizen of the year award recently, while making sure to note others who have assisted along the way to see the event grow from strength to strength over the years.
Donna says she sees her role as pulling the threads together to create the event.
With some trepidation Donna agreed to share the reasons she feels so connected to our local community, the paths she has taken in the past, the roles she presently has, and the plans she’d like to develop in the future.
