BULAHDELAH opening batsmen Luke Ayres and Noel Matheson produced an unbeaten stand of 168 to steer the side to a 10 wicket win over Taree West in the grand final at Taree Recreation Centre.

Ayres finished not out on 68 with Matheson on 88.
Bulahdelah were the minor premiers but went down to Taree West in the major semi before accounting for Wingham Bar in the final.
Taree West were sent into bat and batted out their 40 overs to post a competitive 9/164. The Bulahdelah trundlers shared the wickets, with skipper Geoff Matheson having the best figures of 2/18 while Josh Tynan took 2/28 and Wayne Thomson 2/45.
The second grade grand final will be played on Saturday between Wingham and United at Johnny Martin Oval.
