Bulahdelah Central School’s annual secondary swimming carnival filled the local pool with colour and excitement on Wesnesday, February 7.

The house spirit and enthusiasm from all participants went a long way to making the carnival a success.
The novelty events were also very popular and allowed all students to take part in the carnival.
A number of students were crowned age champions in the girls and boys events.
For the 12 year old bracket, Mia McBride took out the top spot for girls, and Sebastian Sumner for the boys.
Elisa Relf and Tyler Manefield claimed top honours in the 13 year old category.
The girls 14 year old champion was Amber Cunningham, with Zachary Watt taking the top spot for the boys.
For 15 year old boys, Hayden Krohn shared the title with Hayden Harvey, and Katerina Poniris was the girls champion.
In the 16 year old bracket, Holly Towers and Kobi Watt won top spots, and in the 17 year old category, Dakota Edgerton Liam Garemyn were victorious.
Finally, Jessica Lyall and Luke Rochester claimed the top spots in the 18 year old bracket of the competition.
Melba house won the overall competition, with Bradman in second place, Wentworth third and Kenny bringing up the rear.
Congratulations to all competitors throughout the day., and best of luck to the top performers who will now compete at zone level.
