This will allow stabilisation techniques to be implemented along 320 metres of eroding riverbank at Scotts Creek on the Manning River.
Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead said the funding, derived from the Habitat Action Grants program “will ensure that the water quality in our local rivers will be improved, having flow-on benefits to our community and tourism.”
“The NSW Government sees great benefit in supporting local habitat projects since heathy fish stocks rely on healthy waterways,” Mr Bromhead said.
