Manning was the defending champion.
Hastings won the toss and elected to bat. A solid 58 by Charles Adnum was the mainstay of the innings. Adnum and Jake Morgan-Monk had a third wicket partnership of 70 and the visitors were 3/110 when Adnum fell to Lleyton Blissett (2/32). However, Manning bowlers restricted the runs from there and Hastings made 196 from 43.2 overs. Josh McTaggart with 3/21 from nine overs was the most successful bowler.
Ryan Smoothy and Liam Simpson gave Manning a strong start with an opening partnership of 73. However, both both were dismissed with the score on 73.
From there McTaggart and skipper Harrison Clarke took control, adding 77 before Clarke fell for 36. Manning lost six wickets in the run chase with McTaggart top scoring with 49. Jacob Black contributed 20.
