Cinema Under the Stars: To be held at Taree's Wrigley Park, the movie scheduled to be shown is Moana, which is rated G, and can be enjoyed by all ages.

Wrigley Park in Taree will host Newcastle Permanent’s famous Cinema Under the Stars event on Friday, February 16. The movie scheduled is family favourite Moana, which is rated G.

The event will start at 5.30pm, with local musicians performing, followed by the blockbuster movie which will start at sundown.

Newcastle Permanent CEO Terry Millett said Newcastle Permanent hosts what is now Australia’s largest free regional outdoor cinema program.

Official opening 2pm, exhibitions run until March 25. Gallery open 10am to 4pm Wednesday to Saturday, and 1pm to 4pm Sunday.
  • John Holme art exhibition Inside Outside at the Hallidays Point Library, 10am to noon. Runs until February 22.
