To kick start the day the club will run a Dirt Masters Ride for young riders that will be a short 20 minute fun ride, according to club vice president Bruce Pain. The ride will begin at 8.30am with registration required by 8.15am and a $7 participation licence can be bought on the day.
The club race will begin at 9am and be a 6km lap race that will start at the event centre on Lantana Crossing Road, near Tinonee.

Pain said riders can enter in A grade, B grade, C Grade and D Grade and also enter as a solo or as a pairs, males, females or mixed. The number of laps per grade will be advised on the day.
“Race start is set down for 9am sharp with rego opening from 8am,” Pain said.
“We’re aiming to keep the same fun atmosphere that our races always are, so even though we’re calling this one a ‘race’ we still want to see inexperienced riders giving it a shot and having a go.”
Entry for all juniors is free, for all club and non-club member adults is $10.
Pain added that if riders were not a full competition MTBA member they would need to purchase a day licence.
“For seniors it’s $30 and juniors it’s $18, or upgrade your recreational membership on the day for $15. Alternatively you can apply to the MTBA for an eight-week free trial membership.”
