A woman has been charged over a fatal crash at Rainbow Flat last year.

At about 4pm on Tuesday, August 29, emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway, about 2km south of The Lakes Way, Rainbow Flat, after a head-on collision involving a Mitsubishi station wagon and a Subaru station wagon.
The driver and sole occupant of the Subaru, a 69-year-old man died at the scene.
The driver and sole occupant of the Mitsubishi, an 18-year-old woman, was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics and was taken to Port Macquarie District Hospital in a stable condition. She also underwent mandatory testing.
Police from the Crash Investigation Unit commenced an investigation into the crash.
Following investigations, police issued the 18-year-old woman with a Future Court Attendance Notice for dangerous driving occasioning death and negligent driving occasioning death.
She is due to appear at Forster Local Court on Wednesday March 7, 2018.
