Macquarie skipper Josh Hyde won the toss and elected to bat, however, a consistent bowling effort from Taree West saw the visitors rolled for 72 in 28 overs.
Veteran Paul Cox produced a variety medium pace deliveries with his customary off-spin and he finished with 3/10 while Josh Meldrum took 3/12.
Taree West had a few problems in overhauling the score, losing six wickets. Meldrum, in a handy double, top scored with 32.
The win maintains Taree West’s push for a top four berth after the previous week’s victory over United.
Taree West has the bye this weekend.
