Sailing action moves to Manning Point on Saturday, January 20 when races will be conducted from 2.30pm.
Beach entries will be accepted for Sunday’s marathon from 9am to 11am and the event is open to all classes.
Boats will leave Manning Point from around noon, although this will depend on weather and water conditions.
The marathon is among the most popular events on the sailing club’s calendar and is again expected to attract entries from up and down the coast.
Meanwhile the Great Lakes Sailing Club’s Learn to Sail Program has been hailed a success with 17 juniors taking part. Juniors ranged from six through to 17 and were instructed by former graduates of the club’s learn to sail program Lilly Smith, Hamish Wilson and Emily de Berg, who gave up their school holiday time to ensure the success of the event.
