There will be a slight variation to the course because of competitors based at Endeavour Place for the regatta.
The run will still start and finish at Endeavour Place, as usual.
Run director Margie Lewis said she has spoken to organisers of the TasteFest and said the path will be kept clear between 8 and 9am will the runners negotiate their way along the course.
“We’ll run to the old pool and back this week to make up for the distance we’ll lose at the start,’’ Margie said.
Despite a hot Saturday last week a total of 155 runners contested the event.
“It was the most parkrun visitors we’ve had,’’ Margie said.
Parkrun started in Taree in May 2015 and continues to average more than 100 starters each Saturday.
