This was decided at the December meeting after Cr Jan McWilliams raised the matter in urgent business.
Cr McWilliams said she was disappointed with the business cards and badges issued to them.
She said she wanted the bigger print and a photograph and she was “happy to pay."
She said the need for larger print was emphasised at the recent NSW Local Government conference where people had to look closely at her badge to identify her.
Cr Brad Christensen suggested it wasn’t a matter of urgent business. “We do have bigger fish to fry,” he said. “I think we need to move on.”
However, Cr Peter Epov said he had “a moral responsibility to support Cr McWilliams,” commenting that small print was not appropriate for “our ageing population.”
