Councillor Karen Hutchinson will represent MidCoast Council on the Duralie and Stratford coal mine community consultative committees.
Deputy mayor, Katheryn Smith is the alternate delegate.
Council finalised the appointments at its December meeting.
Council’s director of planning and natural systems, or their delegate, will also represent MidCoast Council on these committees.
Council appointed delegates to various external bodies at its October 2017 meeting but sought clarification from the chairwoman of the Duralie consultative committee, Margaret MacDonald-Hill.
