Lower Manning Tagged fish round-up begins January 1

The annual fishing competition will run from January 1 to 31. Fish will be released at Harrington, Manning Point and Coopernook into the Manning River.

Anglers everywhere are getting their rods ready for the annual Lower Manning Tagged fish round up competition.

Fish will be released at Harrington, Manning Point and Coopernook into the Manning River.

A total of 25 tagged fish will be released with prizes to be given for only those caught between January 1 and January 31.

Tags must be presented to the Harrington Hotel during business hours to claim a prize.

Photos of fish will not be accepted.

Prizes of cash and vouchers will range from $100 to $700.

There are no restrictions to where you can fish.

The round-up competition is part of annual Harrington Festival celebrations.
