This time, House With No Steps teamed up with Taree High School and Port Macqaurie based business Paint Your Town to hold a competition to design the padmount.
The painting, situated in front of the former Manning River Times office building, took four weeks to complete and bears the runner-up design called “Yellow Beetle”.
House With No Steps Manning and Great Lakes community engagement manager Jon Vine said this design was chosen as it was better suited to the shape of the padmount.
The first prize winning design, known as “Circle of Life”, is expected to be created on a padmount near Bunnings Warehouse Taree.
Jon was pleased that more padmounts in the Taree area were receiving makeovers and that each design is distinctively different.
