The diplay is open to the public at Manning Regional Art Gallery, showcasing students’ work from a number of schools across Gloucester, Bulahdelah, Tuncurry-Forster, Taree and Wingham.
Assistant gallery director, Jane Hosking said the display has been a great success.
“The exhibition has been going really well, its a fantastic feather in the cap of these young people who are getting a chance to be in the public eye with their work featured in a regional art gallery,” she said.
“We are getting lots of people wandering through, commenting on what a high standard of work the students have managed to produce this year, everyone is really impressed.
“There has been a great level of interest in the community, with locals and visitors popping in to have a look at the exhibition while they are out doing their Christmas shopping.
“It’s a great opportunity to showcase the community’s young talent.”
The exhibition closes on Thursday, December 14. The gallery, located in Macquarie Street, Taree, is open Wednesday to Saturday 10am to 4pm and Sunday 1pm to 4pm.
