And for kids - it's Game On - as the libraries launch the Summer Reading Club from Friday, December 1.
Have you exhausted all the writings of your favourite author? Or maybe you've just put down the best page-turner you've ever read.
Now MidCoast Libraries have a resource for readers to find other fiction authors you'll love.
The 'Who Else Writes Like?' database on the libraries’ website will help readers select their next great read. They can search by author to get suggestions of similar authors or choose by theme, genre, or country. Readers just need their library member number to log in and then they can follow the links to find an author they like and then see which other authors are recommended.
The 'Who Next?' database is especially designed to help parents, teachers and librarians in encouraging children and young people to explore the world of reading.
“This resource will open up your reading experience and lead you into new adventures in fiction,” says MidCoast Libraries manager, Chris Jones.
"'Who can I read now?' is a common refrain heard in libraries all over the world, and now MidCoast Libraries members have access to this fabulous resource which will help them to find more authors they'll enjoy.”

For Mid Coast kids the Summer Reading Club gets underway on Friday, December 1 and MidCoast Libraries is looking to break the record set last year - of more than 2000 books read.
"The Summer Reading Club is fun for kids and maintains their reading levels over the long summer holidays. There are lots of great activities on the SRC website and lots of great prizes to be won," council's community outreach librarian, Debbie Horgan said.
The free Summer Reading Club is for all ages from preschool to high school and it's easy to enter -register online at www.summerreadingclub.org.au from December 1 and then visit your local MidCoast library to pick up a Summer Reading Club pack.
The packs contain an information sheet and reading log, as well as some goodies such as game cards and stickers.
Children are encouraged to visit their library to borrow and get their Game On! card stamped at least five times so they can be entered into a special prize draw. Club members are encouraged to keep a reading log - every 10 books earns you an entry to the main prize draw.
At the conclusion of the SRC, there will be a celebration at Manning Entertainment Centre on January 24 for all those young readers who have read at least 10 books. Smaller celebrations will also take place in branch libraries.
"It's Game On! this year - I'm sure we can beat last year's total with the involvement of kids all over the MidCoast region," Debbie said.
