After six years together, an engagement is just around the corner for Kyle Sandilands and Imogen Anthony.
Speaking to Fairfax Media on the red carpet of the ARIA Awards 2017, the KIIS 1065 presenter, 46, said he will get on bended knee "soon" and will propose "with one of those" pointing to a diamond choker around 26-year-old Anthony's neck worth $2.2 million.
"[The choker] will be dismantled and one of those [diamonds] there will end up on that finger," Sandilands said, pointing to the model's ring finger as security lingered in the background protecting the House of K'dor chain with the value of a house.
"Not even I knew that," Anthony said, sounding shocked.
The eye-catching piece, called The Galaxy Necklace, features seven diamonds in various shapes but Sandilands would not be drawn on which he would place on a band and propose to Anthony with.
Never one to do things by halves, she paired the jewellery with a black, see-through, netted dress with colourful embroidered patches by Sarah Joseph Couture.
"I said just wear the necklace," Sandilands said.
"That's for later," Anthony laughed.
Asked when a proposal might happen, Sandilands said: "We both want [an engagement] but we don't know when."
Anthony added: "This is just the string-out thing that we like to do, you know, we are happy. We have been together for six years. We don't need the piece of paper to be happy and to be in love.
"We will do it when we have the most amount of shock value," she laughed.
He confirmed it won't be happening this Christmas as the pair just bought a farm "down the coast" and would be busy tending to their 47 animals.
"I'll be too busy with my hand in a cow's anus for most of Christmas, even if it is needed or not," Sandilands laughed.
One thing they are 100 per cent sure on is having a family.
"Of course we are going to have kids, that's definitely our plan," Sandilands said.
While Sandilands and Anthony are getting ready for "I dos", wedding bells won't be happening any time soon for Sophie Monk, 37, and Stu Laundy, 44.
The pair, who met on The Bachelorette earlier this year, believe "it's a bit early for marriage just yet", while they continue to defend the status of their relationship.
"We are all great, but we read a lot that we are not happy," Monk said, referring to countless tabloid reports that she has split with Laundy, a millionaire who has four daughters from his first marriage to Rachel.
She has now stopped reading the tabloid reports because she "couldn't keep up".
"Ignorance is bliss," she said.
Monk, who presented an award later in the evening opted for a hot pink jacket dress by Mariam Seddiq, whose name she had sprawled on her palm to help her remember.
Meanwhile, Samantha Jade, 30, was keeping schtum on her rumoured new romance with Sony Music CEO's son, Pat Handlin.
When asked if she was joined on the red carpet by her new beau, the Perth singer said: "You know me, my lips are always sealed.
"I will say, I am very happy though."
Jade, who rocked a beaded, silver Pallas Couture number, is back in the studio until Christmas to work on a new album that will be released in March.
The A-list stars of the night - Lorde, Harry Styles, Rebel Wilson and Ruby Rose - all skipped on walking the red carpet, although One Direction-turned-solo star Harry Styles did make a mad dash outside to say hello to his fans.
