Seven students from the school were nominated for the Myall Lakes Community Awards, with four of them named as finalists in their respective divisions.
The award ceremony was held on October 28, and recognised significant contributions to the Myall Lakes area.
Congratulations to Liam Garemyn and Madison Hurtado, who were both named finalists in the young citizen of the year category, an outstanding achievement.
Siblings Bianca Mason and Brendon Mason were finalists in the young sports person of the year group; another amazing accomplishment.
It was a very proud moment for Bianca Mason, and the school, when she was named as the winner of the young sports person of the year, acknowledging her effort and success in a diverse selection of sports.
